Perkins Olson business group presents at USM Entrepreneur Event:

Quinn Collins, David Perkins and Richard Olson will present a business startup seminar titled “Legal 101 for Startups and Entrepreneurs,” on Thursday, October 27 at 5:30pm in Room 423 of the Glickman Library at the USM Portland campus. The presentation will walk through common legal problems confronted by entrepreneurs and business startups. Topics of discussion will include:

  • Intellectual Property – Copyright, Trademark & Patents
  • Human Resources – Managing Employees
  • Legal Aspects of Raising Capital
  • Licensing & Contracts with Vendors, Clients, and Business Partners

    The presentation is hosted by The University of Southern Maine Department of External Programs, a support program for entrepreneurs and startups, which includes the Campus Ventures commercialization accelerator program.
